Economist, academic leader and higher education expert
Professor Chinara Adamkulova is a Doctor of Economics whose work connects economic policy, university governance and sustainable development in Central Asia.
She is Professor at Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University and Director of the European Documentation Centre. Her academic and policy work focuses on higher education reform, doctoral education, ESG, public finance, water governance and international cooperation.
She served as Rector of Kyrgyz National University from 2015 to 2017 and Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic from 2017 to 2023. She has led and contributed to major Erasmus+ and international initiatives, combining institutional reform with practical programme development.
